£50,000 Available For Good Causes In Mid Sussex

Community groups and small local charities are being encouraged to apply for the next round of funding available from their County Local Committees.

Money for charitySince the start of the financial year £24,000 has already be awarded to 20 different good causes in South, Central and North Mid Sussex.

But there is still more than £50,000 available for projects which will benefit the local community.

The area covers Hassocks, Burgess Hill, Haywards Heath, East Grinstead and the surrounding areas.

Good causes should apply for the funding before the end of January as the deadline for applications is six weeks before the individual committees meet.

The latest community projects to benefit from the Community Initiative Funding are the Balcombe Cricket Club, Special Families East Grinstead, Nature Nurture, and Burgess Hill Shed.
