Rockinghorse will host its major fundraising event of the year at The Grand Hotel in Brighton on Saturday 12 October. The masquerade-themed Ball will be sponsored by DMH Stallard and co-sponsored by Cardens Accountants, Potter Raper, and Gap Solutions.
Rockinghorse is best-known for its work with the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital (the Alex) and Trevor Mann Baby Unit (TMBU) in Brighton. The charity also supports the Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU) in Haywards Heath and many other children’s centres and paediatric services across Sussex.
Now in its 52nd year, Rockinghorse continues to provide vital fundraising support, purchasing life-saving and cutting-edge medical equipment, as well as providing services for young people, parents and carers.
Last year’s Hollywood-themed Ball raised over £90,000 for the charity’s ventilator appeal in support of the Alex. It is hoped they will raise a large sum of money again this year to support sick and disadvantaged babies, children and young people in Sussex.
Ryan Heal, Chief Executive of Rockinghorse, said: “Our annual gala Ball provides a wonderful opportunity for supporters to come together and enjoy an evening of entertainment, whilst also helping us to raise vital funds.
“I’d like to thank our headline sponsors DMH Stallard for kindly supporting our Ball again this year, and extend our thanks to co-sponsors Cardens Accountants, Potter Raper and Gap Solutions for helping to make the event possible.”
Tickets for The Rockinghorse Ball are now on sale, priced at £850 for a table of 10. To book or for more information, call the charity on 01273 330044 or email email@example.com.
