Carol Singers and Collectors Needed for BHT’s Christmas Collection

Brighton Housing Trust is looking for people to join the Big Christmas Street Collection on Saturday 17 December, between 1pm and 4pm, across various sites in Brighton and Hove.

Volunteering an hour or two of your time, you can either sing carols at Pavilion Gardens or tin shake at one of the 14 collection points across the city where a church or community choir will be singing.

All proceeds will go to BHT’s First Base Day Centre Carol Singing 2015which provides a range of services to support people who are sleeping rough or insecurely housed in Brighton and Hove.

Shelley Reed, organiser of the BHT Christmas Collection said: “We are extremely grateful to all the church and community choirs who will be singing across the city, and to the sites who have allowed us to collect on their doors including local supermarkets, the Open Market, Churchill Square and Brighton Train Station.

“Now we need lots of volunteers willing to donate an afternoon to raise money for a great cause.  Mince pies and merriment provided.”

If you would like to take part please contact Shelley Reed on 01273 645403 or email shelley.reed@bht.org.uk
