Support Rockinghorse Children’s Charity this Christmas and Dress Yourself as an Elf.
Wear red and or green to school or work on Friday 8 December and donate £1 towards the charity’s Christmas appeal, supporting the Trevor Mann Baby Unit (TMBU) in Brighton.
Local schools, businesses, community groups and individuals are being encouraged to take part in the festive dress-down day and help make a difference to the lives of premature babies in Sussex.
Rockinghorse is raising funds for an X-ray Imaging Machine that will provide staff at the TMBU with an instant X-ray image, allowing immediate modification of lines and tubes on a premature baby.
Money raised through Rockinghorse’s Christmas appeal will significantly improve the overall experience of a preterm infant, who typically requires multiple X-rays to be taken during their admission.
The charity is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year and has been raising £500,000 for its Sussex Giving for Sussex Children appeal. The funds raised are supporting projects at 10 children’s centres and paediatric services across Sussex.
Supporters can get in touch to request their Dress Yourself as an Elf fundraising pack full of ideas and activities to help make the most of the dress-down day. Call Rockinghorse on 01273 330044 or email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
