Free Volunteering Resource To Be Launched Across Brighton, Hove, Adur And Worthing

Community Works announces the launch of its new online volunteering platform across Brighton, Hove, Adur and Worthing. A partnership project between Community Works and Brighton & Hove County Council, built using Volunteer Plus.Volunteering_SVG.svg

The new website is designed for volunteers, organisations looking for volunteers, and businesses that want to give back to the communities they work in.

Volunteering takes many forms, and with so many positions to fill, the platform can instantly match people who want to volunteer with available roles, freeing them up to spend less time searching and more time volunteering.

The platform provides:

  • maps to scope out opportunities by location
  • comprehensive search facilities to find your ideal volunteering role
  • the ability to register your interest at the click of a button

Our Matching and Guidance advisors at the Volunteer Centre can provide extra support by guiding people through the volunteering process, letting them know what to expect, and chatting through which roles might suit them best, especially if they have specific support needs.

We can advise organisations about how to raise the profile of their volunteering opportunities using the new site and let businesses know how it can help them to give back to their local communities in a meaningful way.
