The David Lloyd Sports Club in Brighton is hosting a fabulous fundraising weekend on 17-18 March. All monies raised will be divided between Brighton children’s charity the Starr Trust and Sport Relief, which runs 17-23 March.
This Charity Weekender will be promoting the Starr Trust’s Annual Bike Ride coming up in July, where cyclists will be transported by Brighton & Hove Buses to Bangor North Wales. From Garth Pier in Bangor they will cycle an incredible 360 miles back to Brighton’s West Pier over a fun and challenging 4 days.
David Lloyd Sports Club will be highlighting this popular event with a static bike in reception on Saturday 17th March. Their staff members will be collecting money throughout the day whilst cycling the equivalent of the Starr Trust’s Bike Ride distance of 360 miles.
On Sunday 18th there will be an all day Spinathon from 10am- 3pm. Bikes will be available for 1 hour slots at just £5 per hour and those taking part can use the Sports Club facilities for free!! Starr Trust Bike Ride 11-15 July
Cyclists will set off from Garth Pier in Bangor, travelling through the stunning landscape of Snowdonia, through Stratford-upon-Avon, over beautiful Box Hill and back to Brighton’s West Pier for a celebratory reception party.
