Healthwatch Brighton and Hove are currently seeking new volunteers to their important work reviewing health and social care services in the city.
A core part of Healthwatch’s work involves conducting reviews where volunteers go into a service to make an assessment. The volunteer observes what is happening and talks to patients about the service they have received. This work is done under Healthwatch’s
statutory ‘Enter and View’ power.
All volunteers need to be trained in ‘Enter and View’ to be involved in these activities.
HW have a busy programme of Enter and View projects in 2017-18 and are keen to increase the number of qualified Enter and View representatives.
They have scheduled two training sessions for volunteers to be become trained in Enter and View:
- May 17th 5-8 pm at Healthwatch, Community Base, Brighton
- May 18th 5-8 pm at Healthwatch, Community Base, Brighton
If you are interested in attending a training session please contact them indicating which session you wish to attend.
Spaces are limited so please book as soon as possible.
