The Christmas spirit has come early to Brighton & Hove Buses with free travel for accompanied children during the first two weekends of December.
Whether visiting Santa in his grotto or Christmas shopping, Brighton & Hove Buses want to make travelling around the city that little bit easier.
On the weekends of 3/4 and 10/11 December the bus company is offering free travel for up to three children under 16 years old (and Bus ID holders) when accompanied by a paying adult or concessionary pass holder.
Bus company Managing Director Martin Harris said: “This is a great way to encourage families who are planning some Christmas shopping to leave the worries of the car at home and get out and about by bus”.
Councillor Gill Mitchell, Chair of the Transport and Environment Committee said: “This is a fantastic offer for families to be able to travel by bus more cheaply this Christmas. And it is better for the environment as well.”
This offer does not apply to night bus services.
