An uplifting performance of newly composed music, film and animation inspired by acts of kindness.
Kindness plays a vital role in recovery from addiction and it is a quality that members of the New Note Orchestra practice on a daily basis. Through newly created music, poetry and film, Kind Rebellion explores how kind acts can help underpin good mental health.
Kind Rebellion is in collaboration with the University of Sussex, who have a pioneering ‘Kindness Research Department.’
After each performance audiences will get the chance to hear about the groundbreaking research being undertaken into the impact of kindness. Jonathan Birch, (LSE) will be joined by experts from the University of Sussex, Oxford University and kindness campaigners to discuss the latest exciting developments in this fascinating area of psychology.
