Open Strings Music (OSM) are delighted to announce their move to Community Base this month. This Brighton-based CIC was founded in 2013 to deliver projects for inclusion and wellbeing using music-making, and are looking forward to operating from central Brighton throughout 2019 and beyond.
They’ll be hosting a series of events to celebrate their move, starting with an Open Afternoon in their new office on the 4th floor of the South Wing. Join them for tea, cake, and an informal singalong – a perfect way to say hello, find out more about what they do, and even try an instrument!
OSM work primarily with adults, including 50+, people living with dementia and their carers, and for mental health. They specialise in working with all-abilities’ groups, including complete beginners to music-making, and aim to partner with other organisations at Community Base to bring more music and wellbeing to the local community.
