Ronald McDonald House in Brighton is holding a Pyjama Day, to raise money for families with children in hospital – all while having fun!
The event will take place on the 9th June – and there’s no limit to who can get involved. From whole schools and classrooms of little ones, to pyjama parties in the office, Ronald McDonald House Charity Brighton invite everyone to stay snuggly all day.
Children will love to ditch the school uniform for comfy clothing while taking part in a fun charity event, and for professionals who are struggling through a tiring week, PJ Day the perfect opportunity to stay ultra-cosy. Ronald McDonald House encourages everyone involved to go social media mad – sharing #PJDay selfies with #RMHC over Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. Whether participants have a favourite pair of fluffy slippers, superhero onesie or big hooded dressing gown, it’s a great chance to show off their cosy nightwear. It only takes a donation of £1 to take part in the fun, and all donations go towards helping families stay strong together.
Just £25 provides a whole family with accommodation and support they need for a night – everything from fresh linen to friendly staff who can offer support through their difficult situation. “Who doesn’t love wearing their pyjamas all day?!” says Yvonne, House Assistant and Fundraiser at the Brighton House. “It’s a fun and easy way to raise money for families of sick children. When my daughter was in hospital with cancer 10 years ago, I would’ve given anything to have a place like this to stay close by, and support on-hand. I can’t wait to see everyone’s PJ Day selfies!”
Those interested should email Yvonne.firstname.lastname@example.org or phone the house on 01273571507, who can provide all the information they need.
