St Catherine’s Hospice Raises £10 million Through Lottery

St Catherine’s Hospice is thrilled that its lottery has raised £10 million since it started thanks to the support of its players.

The iSt Catherine's staff celebrate £10 millionncredible £10 million was reached during last Friday’s draw (7 April) thanks to collective supporters paying £1 for each entry into the hospice’s weekly lottery over the last 18 years. Currently more than 14,000 members try their luck at winning one of 19 prizes, including the £1,000 first prize.

Zoe Dolding, Individual Giving Co-ordinator at St Catherine’s, said: “I’d like to say an enormous thank you to everyone who has joined our lottery, since it started in 1998, and played their part in helping us reach our £10 million milestone. Money raised from our lottery helps us be there to offer expert care to local people in Sussex and Surrey when life comes full circle.”

Mandie Pastars, Lottery Assistant added: Last year was also a successful year for St Catherine’s lottery, as it celebrated its 18th birthday.
