Giving Times has learnt this evening that, with great sadness, The Platform Social Enterprise Ltd. has closed it’s doors this week. Due to funding constraints, they have taken the difficult decision to close current activities.
Unfortunately the Social Enterprise Network will no longer be continuing in its current form. However, they say they are looking at a number of options that will enable the work to continue.
There message says “We are grateful for all the work taken forward by staff, partners and associates who have made substantial changes in shaping the Social Enterprise landscape in the City and beyond. We sincerely hope that our work will find a new way forward to continue the evolution in recognising Business for Good and escalating the appreciation of Social Enterprise as a major business influencer and ideal.
It has been an incredible journey connecting and working with everyone in the network. We thank you for all your involvement with our organisation in assisting us with our vision and hope to work with you in some way in the future.
