This year, Mishon Mackay sponsored The Brighton & Hove Soiree Rotary Club’s annual Christmas tree collection.
Last Sunday, Alex Mackay, Managing Director at Mishon Mackay, and members of the team joined more than 48 volunteers from Brighton & Hove Soiree Rotary Club to collect people’s Christmas trees for a minimum donation of £3.
The event raised £4,352.25 and the money will be donated to the Rotary Club’s chosen charities, including Martlets Hospice, Fareshare, Emmaus and Off the Fence.
Alex said: “It’s great to be involved in this fantastic event again, and thank you to the Rotary Club for organising everything. We love getting out and about in the community and thank everyone for their generous support.”
The team borrowed eight vans and visited houses in Hove and Portslade. All the trees collected will be recycled and used for soil improver or compost.
Robert Griffiths, Brighton & Hove Soiree Rotary Club President, added: “We are enormously grateful to Mishon Mackay for sponsoring this charity event which raised £4,352.25. The money will do some brilliant work for the chosen charities.”
