Announcing Green MP Caroline Lucas and Brighton and Hove Mayor, Alexandra Phillips are getting behind JING’s Massage and Yoga charity festival to raise money for RISE, happening Friday, July 19th 2019 10:00-19:00 in Brighton’s central Jubilee Square. Both will be getting involved, speaking, and offering a Q+A.
1 in 4 women in the UK are affected by domestic abuse. RISE is celebrating their 25th anniversary providing vital services to those affected in Brighton and Hove and all who reach out.
Donating over 100 massages and 7 yoga, movement and meditation classes, by the UK’s best clinical massage therapists and yoga and movement teachers, Jing has high hopes for raising thousands for RISE with the help of the Brighton’s community. The money we raise together will support the over two and a half thousand referrals RISE receives every year and go toward the helpline, refuge (including LGBTQ) and therapy services.
Recommended donation for a 1hr clinical massage is £30-£60 and £5-15 for classes. Individuals can book a time slot for their massage or specific classes or make a donation at https://www.jingmassage.com/jinginjubileesquare/or call JING 01273 628 942 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. There will also be limited spaces offered on the day.
It’s the most extraordinary fundraiser- make a donation – get a massage, take a movement class, explore, have fun and change people’s lives.
Jo Gough, the CEO of RISE is celebrating the event.
“We’re really pleased to have been chosen by Jing for their huge and unique fundraiser: JING in Jubilee Square, massage and yoga marathon, where you can treat yourself this summer with self-care that’ll make a difference. All the proceeds from the day will generously go to RISE and will go a long way to support our helpline, refuge and counselling services.”

Whoever you are JING wants to offer you a day to treat yourself and make a difference.
